Thoughts about cancer/ Zombie apocalyps

One of the most dangerous and most killing diseases is today cancer. It turns your own body againts you and eventually causes your death.

There are different types of cancer, but now I would like to talk about those, which you get from viral infections.

The retroviruses integrate their own genetic information inside yours and causing your cell to turn into a living bomb, which might blow up in any second or years to come...

The viruses´ DNA would not get fully activated, only partially, causing your cells mechanism to get disrupted and in the end maybe causing cancer.

But what if that information might disrupt the complex mechanisms in a way that it would still function, but in a sick way, like a zombie.

Eventually these cells might fall apart after the original one divided several times and infecting others too.

The cancer it might cause would not disintegrate the whole body, but instead it would take it over with a little help of other fungal infections. Turning it into a different living organism.

This would be a partial evolution or just a mutation, but the possibility of a nearly-falling-apart thing is a possibility, too. There are some theories to it, that these viruses might have caused evolution.

Yes, the chance of this is more than one in a billion, but well, even for life to get into existence was a miracle and some do prepare today for the world to end like this.
